Anders OEsterlund releases “Twelve Years” – a heartfelt tribute to his life partner.

On November 28, 2025, Anders OEsterlund released his new single “Twelve Years” – a warm and acoustic pop ballad about love, gratitude, and the shared journey of life. The song was written for his beloved partner, inspired by their twelve years together.

“The goal was to write a song for my life partner, the person I share my life with. I started composing it when we had been together for twelve years, which is why it’s called ‘Twelve Years’. The song became a way to tell the story of our first meeting, how our love grew, and how much she has meant to me,” says Anders.

A warm, happy song and a close collaboration

Musically, Twelve Years moves between pop and country – a catchy melody with groove, harmony vocals, and an acoustic sound that highlights the personal story. The result is a song filled with warmth, joy, and sincerity.
“It’s always an adventure to hear the song finished – like Christmas Eve when you were a kid. It actually turned out even better than I expected. A top-notch job by my producer, as always!”
 
The production was created in close collaboration with KMR Studios. The partnership between Anders OEsterlund and producer Kasper Randler has become a natural continuation of their previous work together – with a clear focus on musical joy and creative growth.
“When we work together, we really understand each other. The goal is always to make the song feel as good as possible. That means a lot to me,” says Anders.

Music as a big part of life

Anders OEsterlund is a songwriter and musician who creates personal pop and rock ballads shaped by life experience and melodic strength. He grew up with a drummer father and started playing drums himself at the age of six, later continuing through music school and youth orchestras before finding his own voice as a singer and guitarist. For Anders, music is not just about lyrics or melody – it’s about the feeling that makes a song unforgettable and how every element connects.
 
With his debut “Only Her,” released in spring 2025, he emphasized that vision – a song where lyrics, guitar, and groove intertwine to create something both authentic and powerful. Now, with “Twelve Years,” Anders continues his journey with the ambition to reach more listeners and collaborate with other creative talents – to keep evolving and leave a lasting impression.
