Heléne Hellmon releases “Little Blue Planet” – a reflection of our times

With her new release Little Blue Planet, Heléne Hellmon gives voice to the concern and frustration that many feel about the state of the world today. The song combines a soft uptempo sound with a clear message: the world is an uncertain place — but not all hope is lost, and we still have both the responsibility and the power to make a difference. This song is a musical stance in favor of compassion and humanity.

Listen to the music

Music born from concern – and turned into action

The song began to take shape in 2023 but was then put on hold for a long period. That year was marked by conflict, the dismantling of human rights, and social developments in worrying directions. Influenced by these events, the need to create something that could carry both emotion and thought grew stronger.
When the work resumed, Heléne returned to the lyrics, revising them to reflect the current moment — because even though much has changed since she first started writing, the message remains just as relevant. Little Blue Planet is an expression of frustration, but also of hope. It’s a musical contribution to the conversation of our time, encouraging reflection rather than resignation. By releasing the song now, a personal reaction is transformed into something universal and powerful.

A creative return with a clear message

With her signature style — melodic, rhythmic, and open — Heléne Hellmon invites listeners to linger in the song, listen again, and reflect. The production is marked by care in both sound and form, with every part feeling intentional. The dynamic bridge and instrumental sections stand out as particularly strong elements that enhance the overall experience.
After a pause from creating, the process of recording and completing the song has marked a welcome creative return. The collaboration with producer Filip Killander has been a key part of the journey. He shares his view on the project:

“Working with Heléne is always exciting. Every session feels like it can take off in any positive direction. Musically, it’s so rewarding to work with the same artist over a long time (since 2020). I’m really proud of what we’ve created!”
