Kulturnatten 2025 is just around the corner! On the second weekend of September (this year on September 13th), Kulturnatten will be celebrated in Uppsala with fantastic cultural events all around the city. We at KMR also want to take part in the celebration and share our passion for music with other music and studio enthusiasts. We’ll be doing this by opening the doors to our studio building and inviting you to an exciting glimpse into how we work. The day will include both lecture sessions and guided tours!

- During Kulturnatten 2025, KMR Studios invites you to a unique day filled with inspiring experiences in the world of music. We would love for you to visit our Dolby Atmos-certified studio – our creative hub in the heart of Uppsala.
- The day consists of two parts: a lecture with a focus on sound and a guided tour through our studios. Choose one of the parts or combine both for a complete experience of what we at KMR Studios do – every day.
- You’ll find us in the courtyard of Skandalhuset (St Olofsgatan 10A), right next to the Old University Building, just a stone’s throw from Uppsala Cathedral. We’ll be holding lectures at 11:00 and 15:00, as well as guided tours at 10:30 and 14:30.
Lecture: “Dolby Atmos – Next Generation Audio”
Filip Killander, CEO of KMR Studios, will give a lecture on how Dolby Atmos is changing the way we create, listen to, and experience music. During the lecture, you’ll get to experience a practical demonstration of the format, a technical overview, and reflections on how this affects both music creators and listeners.

Tour: “Tour in Uppsala’s biggest music studio”
Join a guided tour through our four studios and get an insight into how modern music production works. The tour is perfect for both curious music lovers and aspiring creators who want to get to know the environment where artists, producers, and engineers work every day.
