At KMR Studios, you’ll get a creative experience where you record a cover song together—right in the heart of Uppsala, close to the University Main Building and the Cathedral.
Don’t worry – you don’t have to be able to play an instrument! Our producers will guide you through the process with clear structure, high energy, while at the same time making space for creativity. The result is a song you can bring home, share internally, or even release publicly if you want.

How the corporate studio experience works
- BEFORE THE SESSION
Before the session, you send us the track or tracks you want as the musical backing. A link to a YouTube video or Spotify is perfect. It’s also fine if the track has vocals – we can easily remove them for you, free of charge. - DURING THE SESSION
When you arrive at the studio, you’ll get a cup of coffee and a tour of our four studio rooms before we get started. We’ll help with everything from recording and planning the setup to adding effects and other fun things related to the session. We make sure we keep the day on track and complete what’s planned. - AFTER THE SESSION
At the end of the session, we “tie everything together” and create a download link that you’ll receive as you leave. The link stays active for 30 days after you leave the studio – so remember to download the song and save it somewhere easy to find later.
If you’ve also booked a photo and video package, you’ll receive that in the same delivery!

Start the evening in the heart of Uppsala
The studio is located right in central Uppsala, next to the University Main Building and just a stone’s throw from the Cathedral. That makes it easy to let your visit with us be the starting point for an evening with your colleagues. Many groups choose to start their evening here with a creative, relaxed moment before continuing on to one of the city’s restaurants or bars.
To make the experience extra convenient, you’re welcome to bring your own drink – either when you arrive, or drop them off with us earlier the same day or week.
Every setup always includes an experienced music producer who keeps the experience on track from start to finish. We lead the session with a focus on creative production, recording, and an inclusive “everyone’s in” feel. We’re used to helping groups relax, dare to try, and still move forward together.

Frequently asked questions about the corporate experience
How many people can we include?
We tailor the setup to your group size. Some groups want everyone in the same room during the recording, while others prefer rotating roles, taking turns and working in blocks. Contact us and we’ll suggest a setup that fits your time, ambition, and group dynamics.
– Studio A: Max 5 participants
– Studio B: Max 8 participants
– Photo Studio: Max 15 participants
If you’re planning on including more people than this, we recommend splitting into smaller groups. We can run experiences one after another or in parallel – one of the many benefits of recording in Uppsala’s largest music studio.
Do we need to sing or play an instrument?
No – you don’t need to play an instrument or sing like an experienced artist. There are many ways to take part: clap, shout, or simply be there as support. In these sessions, the most important thing is to have fun. So even if you’re not a confident singer, you can absolutely join in and have a great experience!
What do we get afterwards?
You’ll receive your recording delivered according to your setup. After the session, you’ll get a download link the same day, which includes:
- An audio file with your song—or songs—recorded during the session
- Photos and videos (depending on your setup)
How long does the experience take?
We offer setups from a few hours to a full day. For a “classic” team experience, at least 2 hours and up to 4 hours is usually perfect for creating, recording, and still having time for a final listening that feels like a proper finale. Of course, we also offer longer sessions – especially relevant if you’re planning on including more than 15 participants.
