Want to know what it feels like to stand in a real studio, with a producer who brings you all the way to the finish line?
At KMR Studios, you’ll get a creative, relaxed experience where you (and your friends) record a song in our studio in central Uppsala, close to the University Main Building and the Cathedral.
It can be a gift, a bachelorette party, a stag do, or simply something you do because it’s ridiculously fun. You might also be an artist who wants to create content by recording a cover for social media, or try out what it’s like to record “for real” in a professional studio.
You don’t need to play an instrument or have any studio experience. We’ll guide you through everything: setup, tempo, takes, and feel. You’ll get an experience that feels professional without ever being stiff, and you’ll leave with something you’ll actually want to listen to again.

How the studio experience works
- BEFORE YOUR VISIT
You send us 1–3 songs that set the right vibe (references), or tell us what you want to record. It can be your own idea, a cover, or something you want to try for content making. Does the reference include vocals? No problem—we’ll set up a plan that works anyway. - WHILE YOU’RE HERE
We welcome you, offer coffee, and show you around our studio rooms so you can settle into the space. Then we build the session around your level: someone might want to sing, someone might be the hype person, someone might clap, shout, or come up with adlibs. We coach takes, guide the energy, and make sure you keep feeling, “Wait – this actually works!” - AFTERWARDS
Towards the end, we do a “final listen” and wrap everything up in a delivery link you’ll receive as you leave the studio. The link is active for 30 days, so download and save the material as soon as you can.
If you booked photo/video, it’s included in the same delivery.

Find us right in the heart of Uppsala, next to the University Main Building and close to the Cathedral. Many people make the studio experience the start of a full day or night: come here, record, laugh it off, and then head on to dinner or a bar.
Want to make the celebration extra smooth? You’re welcome to bring your own drinks. Bring them when you arrive, or drop them off with us earlier in the day or week.
Throughout your visit, you’ll have an experienced music producer who holds everything together – from the first idea to the final product. We lead with clear structure and warm energy, so everyone feels included. The goal is simple: you should have fun and still make real progress.

Frequently asked questions about the studio experience
How many people can we be?
We tailor the setup to your group size and the type of experience you want. Some groups want everyone in the same studio room during the recorind, others prefer taking turns in working in blocks. Contact us and we’ll suggest a setup that fits your level, time, and group dynamics.
– Studio A: Max 5 participants
– Studio B: Max 8 participants
– Photo studio: Max 15 participants
If you’re planning on bringing a bigger party than that, we can split you into groups. We can run experiences back-to-back, or in parallel depending on the day and setup.
Do you have to be able to sing or play an instrument?
No. This setup is designed to work for beginners too. You can sing, speak, do adlibs, clap, shout, or simply be the vibe captain. We’ll help you find a way where everyone can join in – and where it’s genuinely fun.
What do we get afterwards?
You’ll receive a delivery link the same day that includes:
- An audio file of your recording (one or more songs depending on the setup)
- Photo and video (if you’ve selected this add-on)
How long does the experience take?
We offer setups from a few hours to a full day. For a classic studio experience, 2–4 hours is usually a sweet spot – enough time to settle in, record, and do a final listen. If you’re a larger group, we can plan a longer session.
