Annika Törner releases “Värdefull”. A melodious song with well-crafted vocal harmonies, instruments, and effects. The song is for those battling mental health issues and the dilemma it can pose for loved ones.
A Song for Those Who Aren’t Well
Annika shares that the song is based on an event in her life when she was to accompany a loved one to a place where they would receive help for their mental health issues. The day before, she received a message on her phone: “I’ve changed my mind.” “It felt almost like a death sentence, and I cried for hours.” The frustration from the message led to a melody and lyrics that eventually became “Värdefull”.
The song is for those who aren’t well and for their loved ones when the person they care about refuses to accept help.
Emotionally Challenging to Produce
We asked Annika how it felt to record the song: “Värdefull was emotionally challenging to produce. The music and lyrics underwent several revisions. Eventually, the files were sent to KMR where the song received new life with a more modern sound. It was a great feeling when the mastering was complete.”
One thing we at KMR particularly like about the song is the strings in the chorus, the drums, the break, and the sound effects before the final verse. Annika agrees and describes it as especially enjoyable to bounce ideas with her dear husband and her collaboration with Filip. “He kept my spirits high.”
Hopes the Song Can Touch Someone Out There
Finally, we asked Annika what she looks forward to most with the song’s release, to which she replied briefly but powerfully, “I hope the song can touch someone out there.” We at KMR are convinced that the song will touch and look forward to following her journey!
