About the music studio
Professional and Inspiring Environment in the Heart of Uppsala
KMR Studios is located in the heart of Uppsala, next to the university building and just a stone’s throw away from the cathedral. We have two different studio rooms adapted to different needs. On this page, you will find information about the differences between the two rooms.
We can assist you with everything from music production for individual instruments to complete music projects, where we help you from song idea to release on Spotify.

Studio A
This studio is designed for established artists and companies looking for the highest quality results. Here, you will work with music producer Filip Killander, who will assist you with everything your project requires.
You will have access to a Dolby Atmos system (Genelec) certified by Dolby, exclusive microphones (including Neumann and UAD), a Malmsjö piano from 1888, and an acoustic drum set.
Studio B
A lovely studio adapted for recording vocals, digital music production, photography, songwriting, and small intimate concerts. Suitable for larger groups (up to 15-20 people). This studio can also be rented unstaffed per hour or on fixed days/times.

Filip Killander
If you book time in Studio A or services in mixing, mastering, post-production, Dolby Atmos, and larger music projects, you’ll be working with Filip Killander. With extensive experience working closely with artists and bands, he not only brings his expertise but also creates a safe and inspiring work atmosphere in the studio.
