The work on The Trilogy: Part III began with a blend of new and familiar material. Niklas Bursell discusses how the process was both personal and creative. “A lot has happened in recent years, so there have been many ideas to jot down in the diary”, he says. The album is the result of several years of musical adventures and personal experiences. The unique mix of new material and a particularly old piece, “Old Man’s Thoughts”, thanks to Chris’ fantastic drums, Stefan’s rhythmic bass and, especially, our newest member Crille with his extraordinary guitar, turned into a duet featuring Elin and Niklas’ daughter Nova. This song is one of many examples of how the band has integrated personal and emotional elements into the music. Niklas explains that encounters with people and music enthusiasts, as well as personal experiences, have been a significant source of inspiration during the creation of this album. This profound inspiration has made each song on the album feel unique and well-considered.

Niklas looks forward to continuing his musical journey with new opportunities and plans, and showcasing the album on stage.
