On April 1, 2022, Mack Gibson will release his new song “Någon gång” through KMR Studios! A song about longing, yearning, and eventually finding your way back home.
“Någon gång” is a personal and vulnerable song that describes the feeling of isolation and emptiness that can arise from being far away from the ones you love. Mack Gibson has described how the song came to be when, on a late summer evening in August, he sat in his big blue house and looked out over the horse paddocks surrounding him. The song takes us not only through the longing for the people we love but also the courage to take the step back and find our way home again.
The melancholic lyrics meet a lively country melody, where, as usual in the artist’s songs, the harmony in the music and the lyrics take center stage. As always when Mack Gibson releases new music!
