Clownens Svanesång

On March 25, 2022, Mattias Hoffert finally releases his new album “Clownens Svanesång” through KMR Studios! It’s a poppy record where the broad and unique sounds of the nine songs follow one another.

Over the course of two years, the songs on the album have developed. As usual, it’s the spontaneous loops at the piano in Halmstad that have eventually resulted in finished songs. The album’s nine songs have been carefully selected for how, despite their differences, they still form a unique whole. Mattias explains how the process and creation of the music are closer to his heart than the final result. It is in the act of creation that creativity is given space and brings joy to the songwriter.

The concept behind the selected songs is described by Mattias Hoffert as a concert experience. Each song has its specific placement, and the album is best enjoyed as a whole, from beginning to end. The common thread stretches from the first melody loop in “Har Du Min Rygg?” to the outro in “Clownens Svanesång,” and as usual, the musician and songwriter have left nothing to chance.
