The new single Vågar du is an emotional and hopeful song with a strong pop melody. The song was written at the piano at home and was later developed in the KMR studio in Uppsala three years later. The recording process was a rollercoaster of emotions, but the final result turned out just as intended. “It was an emotional ride—first excitement, then nervousness, then excitement again. But now it just feels amazing that it’s finished!”

From an idea at the piano to a finished song

Vågar du was written spontaneously at the keyboard at home and later refined in the KMR studio. The recording journey was filled with both joy and nervousness, resulting in a song that conveys comfort and strength. ”I wrote the song spontaneously, without a big plan. But it gave me a feeling of security, and I immediately knew I wanted to record it,” says Terese.

“Being in the studio and developing the song was a special experience. I love the chorus and melodies—they make me feel good every time I hear them.” With Vågar du, the artist wants to offer listeners a song to hold on to when life takes unexpected turns.

A song about daring and finding security

The new single Vågar du is about taking the leap and trusting yourself. With its pop-driven and emotional tone, the artist hopes the song can bring both courage and peace to listeners. “For me, this song feels like a safe place. I wanted to create something that offers a sense of calm and strength—and I hope it can mean something to others too,” says Terese.

After years of development both at home and in the studio, the song is finally ready to be released. “It just feels exciting to share this song! I’m really looking forward to hearing how others experience it.” With Vågar du, the artist looks toward the future—and new musical adventures.
