On May 24, 2024, Andreas Hellqvist invites enthusiasts of music, technology, and community to an immersive sound experience – completely unique in its kind. The Quadraphonic Leslie Experience in Uppsala 2024, at Katalin Bar. Learn more about the technology and background on the project’s dedicated website. In 2022, the project “Quadrophonic Leslie Experience” was started by Andreas Hellqvist and had its premiere on Sven during 2023. In 2024, Andreas has composed and recorded more music for the project – this time written specifically for this project which has been partly made possible by support from the Arts Council. In addition to the concert, this has also resulted in an album that will be released later this year, but which will be performed at Katalin on May 24th. The sound has been mixed in Dolby Atmos and will also be available in stereo on all streaming platforms.

In the endeavor to offer this unique experience to as many listeners as possible, Andreas enlisted the help of Uppsala’s first Dolby Atmos-certified music studio – KMR Studios.
