Internship at a Record Label
KMR Studios is both a place (our studio in Uppsala City) and a community (a collection of artists, musicians, and collaborators). Our goal is to help and be part of the journey as artists realize their dreams. On this page, you can learn about what we offer to those who want to apply for an internship here, what we expect from you as an intern, and how to apply for an internship with us.
What We Offer
We offer the opportunity to gain insight and participate in practical work within the music industry, with the possibility of continued collaboration after the internship period. We welcome interns in the fields of music, marketing, and design.
What You Offer
Contrarily, we are looking for humble, proactive, and ambitious interns who can provide support in the projects we have with our artists. The work can range from editing vocals and music production to managing social media and editing images.
You must also be at least 20 years old.
Requirements for Internship
The minimum requirements we have for prospective interns in music production, mixing, or mastering are:
- You work in Logic Pro X
- Have some version of Melodyne
If you are applying for an internship position related to graphic design (image/video), you need to have access to Photoshop and Premier Pro or equivalent.
If you are applying for an internship position related to web design/development or similar areas, we only expect a basic understanding of the area you want to specialize in.
Requirements for Internship
- Answer and submit the form below. Do not call us. We are often in sessions and have limited ability to answer the phone.
- In the form, we want as much information as possible about you and what you want to develop within. Links, images, audio clips, and texts. The more, the better.
- We will get back to you as soon as we can. We always respond, even when we cannot offer an internship position.
