The Greatest is a pop song with a touch of rock, characterized by strong and airy melodies. The song lives up to its title as the impressive sound creates an almost otherworldly feeling, making you feel invincible.
A Love for Mother Earth
When we asked him how the song came about, he answered: “I was at my cabin and was getting some hammering job done in a beautiful evening in late summer. The lake was calm and the birds were chirping, only nature’s own sounds filled the air. In that moment, it struck me: it’s a magnificent and beautiful world, and I developed a love for Mother Earth. I grabbed my guitar, and the melody just flowed, as if it had been waiting for me all along.”
Touches the Heart
During the recording of the song, everything flowed seamlessly. Everything Lupus J needed was within him. He describes a feeling of euphoria sweeping over him when he realized he had created something that feels genuine, straight to the heart. One thing we appreciate about the song is that it starts stripped down with guitar and vocals, only to explode in the choruses, leaving us with goosebumps on both our arms and legs.
Thoughts and Expectations about the Release
Finally, we asked Lupus J what thoughts, dreams, and goals he has about the release, and he replied, “I hope someone takes it to their heart; love win and is the greatest, always.” Something we found very touching. We are confident that he will reach many hearts with The Greatest!
