Ms Mia is back, and now with a song that hits harder than ever. “In Chains” is a song about injustices and the power imbalance that exists in our society. It conveys strength, honesty, and the ability to feel vulnerable. “This song is as much about oppression as it is about being honest with oneself, and regardless, we are strong and can find the power together for change,” says Ms Mia.
Heavy bass, attitude, and important messages through an amazing voice have characterized Ms Mia’s previous songs, and this is no exception! During the early stages of production, the bass led the way for the rest of the instrumentation. Nothing can be too much or extreme when Ms Mia and producer Filip Killander work together in the studio.
