The Process of “Remember Love’s Around You”

The beginning of the song ‘Remember Love’s Around You’ started when the artist herself was studying at a folk high school a few years ago and during that time composed the first lyrics and melody. It wasn’t until February 2024 that she resumed the creative process and completed the song at KMR Studios.

Just like with the artist’s other songs and musical works that she has written, the development of this one has been very rewarding and simultaneously healing for Terese in many different ways in life. The lyrics of the song have a message about remembering that love and joy, even in difficult times, are always around to reach out to.

Terese Bååth’s strongest memory with the song is when the chorus finally fell into place and was finished, which she found both very satisfying and exciting. Also, daring to try and sing it, which she managed with great emotion and pitch accuracy. Creating the cover image for the song and seeing the finished result also became a strong memory.

The Joy of Music in the Song

The artist was initially quite nervous about recording her very first song for the first time ever and felt excitement at the thought of realizing the draft she had had for so long. However, she quickly found her own ways to handle and do it, which made it just fun and exciting.

Hearing the song’s development every time she was in the studio was especially something she appreciated, and the collaboration with KMR Studios was both fun and rewarding. “They had many good ideas and were very good at incorporating mine. I appreciated that a lot!”

A favorite part of many in the song is the chorus, as Terese herself finds it beautiful and uplifting, which is also a feeling that recurs throughout the entire piece.

In conclusion, the number of things that Terese Bååth has learned about herself in this process and experience is many, and the joy of having dared and just gone for it is constantly recurring.

Now remains both a great relief but also longing to listen to the song when it’s released. Also, being able to show and share the work with others, and especially to “spread the song’s positive message to those who want and need to hear it.”
