The background to the creation of the song was that the artist’s former vocal coach showed her a song that she thought would be a good match both musically and vocally. The song was ‘Born Without A Heart’ by the artist Faouzia, and Felizia herself immediately connected with the song, where the lyrics especially held significant personal meaning for her.

She can relate to the song and its message in a way that has inspired her, and therefore chose to create her own version of it, which we now have the pleasure of experiencing. Having realized her vision to record her own interpretation of the song has strengthened her: “I felt proud to have done this.”

She also says how good she feels dedicating herself to music creation and singing, and that she had a lot of fun while recording the song, something she will remember and carry with her.

The Recording Process
