Rian Alvianto Releases the Single “Sommarregn”

Songwriter and artist Rian Alvianto releases his debut single “Sommarregn” (“Summer Rain” in English). An intimate pop ballad with a warm retro sound. The song was recorded, produced, mixed, mastered, and released through KMR Studios.

“Sommarregn” is the first song Rian wrote after an 8-year hiatus from songwriting. After spending a night with a stranger, he woke up with part of the melody in his head, which he then wrote in just a few hours. “I took an Uber home and sat in front of the piano, and it all just flowed out at once. It was like I was vomiting the song.”

The Feeling When the Song Was Finished

After working on the song in the studio for a few sessions, Rian felt a great sense of satisfaction when it was finally completed. “It felt amazing to record it and see it come to life,” says the artist. Despite this, it took him almost half a day to realize that the song was actually finished, an incredible feeling.

One thing we love about the song is the key change in the final chorus and how well the beginning and end of the song flow together, and Rian agrees. Rian has truly showcased his talent as a songwriter and vocalist, and the song is proof of his ability to create music that touches and inspires.

Thoughts Before the Song Release

When we asked Rian what he was most looking forward to with the song release, he answered, “I have no expectations. I’m just so happy that I’ve returned to music.” We’re glad he’s back, and we’re excited to hear more.
