“The story has long been set in stone, so the lyrics remain the same as they always were. What constantly changes is the feeling when looking back on it. When we lived in the midst of it, we never saw beyond the next weekend, perhaps because we didn’t know anything else or maybe because a short horizon doesn’t leave room to feel anything. Although the story follows us until death, the feeling is different, and I am grateful that it has now become memories from my island.”
