Break Our Hearts

On June 3, the new talent Cedralina is releasing her first single “Break Our Hearts” with us at Killander Music Records. It’s a song about being ostracized and a friendship that has been destroyed.

The song came about when Cedralina (Cedra) was at a music camp and had to write a song based on a specific event. Cedra started humming a melody, and together with the Libyan singer and artist Bahjat Etorjman, who played chords on the guitar, they began writing the lyrics and melody for the song. They went straight into the studio, and the result is the powerful pop song we hear today!

Cedra always finds inspiration in individual song lyrics, but artists like Faouzia and Christina Aguilera hold a special place in her heart. She hopes that listeners can relate to the lyrics and interpret the song based on their own experiences and emotions.

On July 1, Cedralina will follow up her debut single with an EDM remix by the producer RÆVHEN from Skåne.
