Stefan Olovsson release his latest EP, ”Beautiful Dancer” on the 23 of June 2023. This melodic and effortlessly enjoyable EP blends elements of Country Folk and Americana. The songs truly come alive in its infectious and captivating choruses compared to previous releases.
A tribute to a dancing friend
The first song ”Beautiful Dancer” was written by Stefan a long time ago, it’s about a friend who loved to dance. The song holds a special place in his heart because it was also the very first song he performed live in front of an audience. ”Sharing it with people and seeing their reactions was an incredibly memorable and powerful experience.”
Stefan is satisfied with the overall sound of the songs, but particularly the drums. ”The drums have an impactful and powerful character that elevates the songs and moves them forward.” Something we wholeheartedly agree with.
Emotions during the recording session
When we asked Stefan how it felt to record the songs, he replied, ”It was an amazing feeling to record the songs. I wrote them a long time ago and have performed them countless times live, so it feels wonderful to finally release it.” The songs have received positive feedback from those who have had the privilege to hear them, and the demand is high. Therefore, Stefan is excited to finally showcase the EP ”Beautiful Dancer” to the world. We at KMR are thrilled to be part of his journey!
