Jennifer Sällström

Jennifer Sällström is a soul and pop artist from Uppsala who has music in her blood. Her love for music comes from her upbringing, and she has a long background in various choirs and musicals. Poems and stories evolved into melodies and lyrics, and some time ago, Jennifer took the step to start releasing her own music.

Jennifer often describes her songwriting as therapy. Her emotions and thoughts are transformed into lyrics and melodies, and she hopes that those who listen can relate to the messages in her songs. Jennifer finds inspiration in a range of genres, from soul and jazz to pop and indie music. Artists such as Amy Winehouse, Jorja Smith, Jessie Reyez, Billie Eilish, and Veronica Maggio are significant sources of inspiration. In the past year, Jennifer has also been inspired by the sounds of artists like Frank Ocean, Rex Orange County, and Brockhampton.

Jennifer's goal with music is to continue feeling free to express herself creatively and never stop having fun. And that's exactly how we at KMR Studios feel when we listen to Jennifer's music!
